Suggestion: Ban Appeal System

Ban appeals can be common on some servers. I'm using the system on my server which is also used on many other servers. So basically when a member gets banned, they have to wait 30 days to make an appeal or if the ban was mistake they have to do it immediately. People don't read/follow instructions and several of them end up making an appeal immediately even when it was not a mistake. To counter this a role system can be made -

• A message can be posted by the bot in any channel which initiates this system
• The message has instructions to choose the roles, one for mistakes and one for normal appeals
• The roles can be set to take them to different channels with different instructions
• The bot won't accept messages unless the roles are chosen
• If the mistake role is chosen the bot will take them to the corresponding channel and immediately start accepting messages from the member
• If the normal role is chosen then the bot will assign a role which will let them message only after x days (30 days if we take the case of my server)

To prevent a role misuse after second ban, the system resets for the member when they join the main server.

This is something that should be handled by a plugin, not the main bot in my opinion. You can already create a second main server through with which banned users may appeal.
