yes @DrAma999
I've launched the project on an iPad (sim and device) iOS9, they both works fine.
@DrAma999 How did u checked in iPad? Because your application is not universal. Your application is only worked in iPhone and if u tried to run your application in iPad then It will run iPhone4s view in your device.
Just convert in settings the app as universal
Wait I share my iPad screenshot

@DrAma999 Are u there??

As stated in the licenses (MIT) this is software is provided as-is, without warranty, so please be patience, I'm at work.
Here is a screen from mine as you can see it is working.
If you want me to investigate the issue, please provide me as much detail as possible:
- xcode version
- ios version
- if you made some changes to the provided sample tell me which
I'm using iOS 9.2 And XCode version is 7.2
- Update Xcode to the latest version
- On the simulator check this settings: iOS Simulator > Menu Bar > Debug > Graphics Quality Override > Device Default
- Be aware that visual effects are not available on some devices such as iPad 2

@DrAma999 Thanks.
