Blender Launcher stuck at "checking for new builds" forever on arch linux & manjaro KDE

when instaling Blender Launcher, the program alows me to go through the normal instalation & setup proces, but then, when trying to instal any build of blender, it gets stuck at "checking for new builds", never letting me download any builds.

To Reproduce well, from what i have experienced, you will just have to install Blender Launcher on any Arch linux / manjaro linux system. (i had this issue only in the KDE desktop enviroment, but i dont think that is an significant factor here.)

System:

• Operation system: both Arch linux and manjaro KDE
• Blender Launcher version: 1.14.1

if there are any uncertentys / questions about this issue, please ask.

i have checked issue #103 , but this does not apear to be it. i asume so, given that both issues have different simptoms. while #103 let's the program apear in the system tray, but not launch propperly, my issue DID launch the program, but didn't actually let me see any downloadable versions, somewhat as if it did not load / connect to the server. but it seems to have disapeared after i switched from wayland to x11.

Sorry for late response. It seems that Wayland has issues both on QT support side as well as connection issues, however some of them have been soved in latest relaese. You still need to debug an issue to make further steps on this problem.
