Something like that sounds like a lot of work. So it probably won't be made unless someone has a lot of time and knowledge about how to implement something like...
You'll need the launcher to support that, probably. Without that, it wouldn't be possible unless you're willing to learn some java ;)

I noticed this too while creating some of the preview images and when I used them for my Arcticons icon pack. I don't think it's intentional.
