Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. The most common task a person does when they don't have a printer that supports auto updating the amount remaining on a spool is to weigh and update the spool weight. Right now my only option is to find the spool in the list and open up the spool page or click the very small icon in the row to open the update modal. When you are updating 8 spools from a multi color print this is super annoying.

Describe the solution you'd like I'd like there to be a button in the header that is "update spool". It will take you through a workflow where you can select the spool with an inline search, update the spool weight and then either "save" or "save and update more" or cancel.

When searching for a spool to update in addition to having a text field I can just type in the numbers I'd like the ability to quickly filter by color family, manufacturer and/or material. This would allow me to drill to what I am searching for much faster with a mobile device.

Describe alternatives you've considered For those that go through the trouble of using QR code labels it would be nice if when you scan a spool it's not just the information but you can have the option to scan and update weight.

Added an option to the spool adjustment modal for #560, this should make it easier to select a spool from the list and open a modal to adjust by weight of the spool.

@zacgoodwin I had the same "problem" with my AMS to track the filaments and easy update them and this is my solution .

I picked up some inexpensive NFC sticker tags and placed them in convenient spots for easy access with my phone. Whenever I change filament, I simply reprogram the NFC tag with the direct link to the specific filament-for example: https://yourdomain.com/spool/show/5.

You could also use QR codes for the same purpose, providing a quick way to access the filament’s details directly.

Soon, when you visit a filament page #626 , you’ll see an "Adjust Spool Filament" button in the header. This will let you make quick updates right from your phone, streamlining the whole process!
