The size of this add-on raised my eyebrows :)

Very quickly I found out that the add-on is mainly made up of the embedded font GmarketSansTTFMedium. The add-on, which could have been only a few kilobytes long, is over 1 MB zipped. Why was it necessary to embed the font?
