feature request: auto-scroll in output-window

Would it be possible to make the output auto-scroll, so that the latest output is always visible?

+1 for this ... It's intensely challenging to see what's happening when new output scrolls off the bottom!

It's been over a year since this issue was raised. Is there any update on this? I tried to combine the "autoscroll" plugin from the marketplace, but it doesn't work on the results window. Best way I've found so far is to not append results, but still one would like to keep the history of results open for reference, and plus some outputs are by themselves pages long.

This was implemented by PR #97. However, this extension has no update for a long time...

So I forked it and published here.
