Extension never populates windows 10 timeline?

So i installed the extension from the chrome store. I signed into the extension with the account i expect to use. I checked my privacy section in windows 10: image

The 3rd account there is the one i'm using (of course i have deleted the email addresses in the screenshot). The only time i see an item in windows 10 timeline from chrome is when i load a physical file from my file system into chrome (like a pdf for example). I never see any web pages. If i click on the extension and click "view recent activities" i do see everything but for some reason windows 10 timeline is not being populated by the extension. I've tried to clear out windows 10 timeline to see if that would help and it didn't. Any clue why? I

Hmmm, I've heard of other people experiencing a similar issue. I'm not too sure how to fix it, if the pages are displaying under "recent activities", the extension is working as it's meant to (publishing history to the Microsoft Graph), it seems as if activities appearing not appearing on Timeline may be a Microsoft issue.
