CodecCommanderPowerHook fails to keep the codec alive (ALC283)

Open sebinouse opened this issue 9 years ago • 1 comments

As far as I understand, the codec is no longer kept alive with "Check Infinitely/ Interval" but with CodecCommanderPowerHook.

Sometimes with no sound since several seconds, I can hear a CLIC and then I loose EAPD ... I can't find a way to reproduce it for the time being (I'll try).

A Sleep/Wake cycle wakes the codec.

Codec: ALC283

Method : Clover SSDT injection (layout 1) Custom layout1 / Platforms / verbs

Nodes : 0x19 (25) MIC2 0x21 (33) Headphone OUT

I have ALC283 on my Lenovo u430. I cannot reproduce the problem you mention.

I'm using my own current build: https://github.com/RehabMan/EAPD-Codec-Commander
