The original developers abandoned the project and it has been picked up by the community instead and they are working on it in this github repo https://github.com/materializecss/materialize

Atleast the project owners must notify somewhere about the status of this project. It's very hard to find that the project is maintained by another community. @Dogfalo

Does anyone know what's happened to @Dogfalo and why there's been no public comment? We have a group who are definitely getting more active at maintaining. You can find the new fork at https://github.com/materializecss/materialize
