Inbox unread count not reducing when read

Hi,

I could find a similar issue open, but if I have any number of unread messages in my inbox once I have read them all the count is not reduced, so each time I open the app it appears I have new replies etc. They do seem to clear down after a couple of hours to a day, wondering if this is known or normal?

Fixed in v5.2.0.

I have 5.3.3 and it's still happening. I need to mark all as read to fix it

Bump, still happening in v7.2.6. Phantom message appears in my inbox in left sidebar, when I click that there's nothing new within notifications or messages. I refresh, then mark all as read, the counter clears, but some time later (can be a few minutes, or hours, or the next day) it reappears. Please fix, it's annoying and misleading. If the cause can't be tracked down, at least add a toggle in settings to disable the inbox counter, I'll check it manually when I want.
