Change in network connection with data saving mode turned on causes infinity to jump to top of posts and comments
Steps to reproduce:
- Enable "Data Saving Mode" in settings (I have it on as "Only on Cellular Mode")
- Enable Mobile Data and turn off Wi-Fi
- Browse so that a post is cut in half at the top side of the screen
- Disable Mobile Data
- Infinity will jump back up to the top of the post
Expected result: Infinity should not move the posts.

This bug also occurs when the network automatically changes (e.g. from 3G -> 4G), which can be frustrating when browsing reddit during a car journey for example. It also occurs for comments, i.e. repeat the process above but cut a comment in half instead.
I'm also using Version 4.3.4 from F-Droid on Android 11.
That's normal. It needs to refresh the post feed to apply appropriate settings like video autoplay to each visible item.
Would it be possible to stop it from jumping back to the top of the post/comment though? It's very jarring and makes Infinity quite difficult to use in situations when the network connection is constantly changing, e.g. during a car journey.
@Wladefant @Docile-Alligator, could we reopen this? It is a very legitimate issue and detracts from the usability of the app. I experience this just about every day when traveling across a college campus.
I think reopeting so we can put some thought into resolving would be a positive thing.
