Plain link in markdown is processed differently than reddit website

Steps to reproduce

1. go to the mentioned post (or a similar post) on both infinity and website
2. observe the links being differently processed

Expected behaviour

Reddit website processes the link without the ending .

Resulting link is https://lua-api.factorio.com/latest/index-prototype.html

Current behaviour

Currently infinity processes the link with the .:
