Steps to reproduce

1. start writing a post or comment
2. use shift+arrow keys to select some text, eitter with an external keyboard or a keyboard app like unexpected keyboard
3. click any of the formatting buttons at the bottom

Example post, link, markdown...

No response

Expected behaviour

selection with stift+arrow keys behaves same as with drag selection

notes:

selection with ctrl+a works perfectly fine.

if you start a selection with drag selection, then transition to shift+arrow keys it is also perfectly fine

same with ctrl+a and transitioning to shift+arrow keys. also perfectly fine.
