GOS GBoard integration sporadically glitches during GBoard pop-up attempts

Steps to reproduce

1. Use GBoard
2. Use Infinity (app obtained anywhere, but mine is from Aurora Store)
3. Enter a few hundred words of text into any comment field or post text field.
4. Place cursor around the text until the keyboard unsuccessfully tries to pop up.
5. Highlight text to successfully make the keyboard pop up.

Expected behaviour

The cursor placement should make the keyboard pop up.

Current behaviour

The keyboard only rapidly springs to then rapidly right back down every time the cursor is placed. Highlighting text will make the keyboard pop up.

What exactly is GrapheneOS Gboard integration? I'm not aware of anything like that. What are you referring to?

Have you checked if the same happens with other keyboards, or on other apps? It would probably be useful to know if this also happens on other devices/OSes, but I understand you may not necessarily have a spare phone around to try stuff like that.
