The events pages on the website aren't very useful for people finding out how to register for an event

The events pages on the website, for example https://doesliverpool.com/does-event/does-salon-the-many-faces-of-openstreetmap/ look like they're the official page for the event, rather than some info about an event being managed elsewhere.

If you hunt enough on that page, you can find a link to the page to register, but I think most people won't spot that. At present it feels like it's just a recipe for friction between attendees and event organisers as folk won't have registered before turning up 😕

For me you can only find the google calendar if you click on the "events" drop down on the website, not on the "maker events" in the drop down, which is the more obvious UI thing to click.

The former goes to https://doesliverpool.com/events/ The later goes to https://doesliverpool.com/maker-events/
