Sheila computer replacement

I have my Asus K55A laptop which I would like to donate to DoEs as a replacement for the computer linked to Sheila, which I think would be better for the user. Ill bring it with me on Wednesday. Could the laser maintenance team comment please?

Hi Dave, sorry for not replying earlier.

The main issue is that the Lasercut software, from past experience, needs 32 bit windows to work with its dongle. Whether this can be worked around by using a virtual machine has not been tried as yet.

What version of Windows is running on your laptop, as perhaps we can retro-install a 32 bit version of windows?.

I think it's 11. The laptop has been taken back to its factory settings. I successfully ran Lasercut and Lightburn on it before. Regards
