Making a note of this here for @DoESLiverpool/laser-maintenance

On Maker Night, I found that the drive belt on the X-axis wasn’t as tight as the other axes, so i re-tensioned this drive belt as a possible short term improvement.

I believe it is time to replace the X-axis drive belt though, as it is quite worn in certain places. This belt is 1120mm in length with a 9mm width. Belt type appears to be MXL 037.

This belt from Amazon appears to be the correct type, but you need to order 2m to get the length we need. It might be worth buying 3m, so we have a future spare.

This has arrived. It’s in a little jiffy bad on Sean’s desk.

A new drive belt was fitted on the x-axis and tensioned correctly.

I believe this should resolve this issue, so I am closing this issue, we can always re-open it if this issue should re-occur.
