YouTube with its internal dark theme enabled brakes and is extremely slow when the extension is active. I use Firefox on Arch.

And here the whole time I thought it was just usual youtube slowness. Can confirm, extension is doing a lot of churn for ultimately no benefit. The way the site is built is insane, resulting in the extension having to do thousands of checks as entire html template trees are dynamically added and restyled, all because Google won't meet W3C recommendtations and just set both foreground and background colors in the root element. Unfortunately, there's no easy fix for this. You're going to want to add youtube.com to one of the override lists for now (blacklist will reduce overhead, as extension does nothing at all, standard color list may catch some badly styled input elements if they exist), as I don't have any quick fixes for this.
