Ping @mzachh to comment on why the image is so large when `oraclelinux:7-slim` is only 114MB, but we won't release any image that is not based on `oraclelinux:7-slim`.

The open #1666 pull request adds `-slim` variants to all the Database images. You should be able to use the proposed changes to create one yourself.

I've just hit the same problem. Will try and raise this internally for more visibility too.
