Two external screens are connected to my notebook. As soon as I move the mouse pointer to the external screen, I receive the following error in the log with every movement. The mouse pointer is not visible.
Is it only a problem with the newest evdi or do you still see it when you switch back to 1.14.2?
@ptpu Please provide logs you can gather with SupportTool: https://www.synaptics.com/products/displaylink-graphics/downloads/linux-support-tool
You can send them on DisplayLink support via [email protected] or post here if you wish.
I have the same issue with 1.14.4. I downgraded to 1.14.2. and it's working now. I can't run the SupportTool as I'm on the ARM Linux (MacBook Air M2).

Hi, I have evdi version 1.14.6 on Debian GNU/Linux trixie/Kernel 6.11.4 and i get exactly the same issue with wayland
evdi: [W] evdi_gem_mmap:408 Don't allow imported objects to be mapped: owner: i915
Is there a fix available or do you still need the displaymanager-logs?
Hi,
i reverted commit https://github.com/DisplayLink/evdi/commit/3323f3190dc922f1b4ad5f525f09b72afd2739e0 on my local 1.14.7-source. What can i say ... it works. Mouse pointer is visible again.
Can someone change the subject to "Mouse pointer is not visible in wayland" ?
