DT no longer sending emails
My DT instance was sending emails and just stopped. Here is the log 2025-05-08 12:55:10am Garland Wong wp_mail_failed Could not instantiate mail function. How can I troubleshoot this issue?
Hey @garlandwong, Thanks for messaging. D.T itself doesn't handle sending email. When installing Wordpress usually a mailing system is set up. Popular WordPress providers do this out of the box (at least in a limited way). If it is a custom setup, then usually an smtp plugin is used to send emails with a service like mailgun or SES. You might need to contact your hosting provider or the admin who set up the WordPress instance to further diagnose the issue.

yes the problem was there was a email velocity filter on the hosting provider. so we added a plugin for email and it works now. thank you for closing the case
