Mention Charts in Dioxus Documentation or Tutorial

Open aaelony opened this issue 9 months ago • 3 comments

Feature Request

For those looking to enhance a Dioxus app with plots and charts, a mention of dioxus-charts might be helpful to others in the documentation.

Implement Suggestion

Add mention of https://crates.io/crates/dioxus-charts to documentation. This would have helped me.

There are a lot of libraries for Dioxus in the Dioxus awesome page. You could add an entry for dioxus-charts in the JSON file here to get it included: https://github.com/DioxusLabs/awesome-dioxus

Hi! Actually, while awesome in and of itself, the awesome-dioxus page currently has nothing covering plotting of charts.

I think adding dioxus-charts as a good first step, but there are likely 20+ good plotting libraries (e.g. https://www.sitepoint.com/best-javascript-charting-libraries/) that are not yet mentioned in Dioxus documentation (I have found to date).

It would be great if anyone with deep Dioxus chops could instruct on how to better integrate plotting in a Dioxus App.

Some target examples of interactive plots might be these...

Hi guys, I had a very good experience with using charming for diverse and interactive plots. There are examples using dioxus for web and desktop environments in the repo. Charming uses echarts under the hood, so be aware that it is not a lightweight or native solution.
