Wording: "spoiler" VS "content warning" in french translation

Latest iOS app, with FR locale

Description

This is more of a question. I use Mastodon since 2017. I have never seen any client using the word “spoiler” for content warnings. Although the content warning feature can be used as a spoiler guard, I don't understand the logic under this decision.

French text is "Texte spoilé" what litterally mean "Spoiled text". It correspond to the status.editor.spoiler localization key and EN "Content warning". The state of this key is "Need review", so, here we are, I guess.

Maybe a typo or translation mistake? Or possibly a recent Mastodon feature I am not aware of...

I really like the app but feel like very confused by this, for some reason. Note this is a very controversial thing to call those “spoilers” because this is obviously not what they are.

I opted for the literal translation of "spoiler" as well for zh_Hant, but I agree that it should probably be the more general "content warning" instead.
