Bug: Unable to log into Sharkey instances

Environment:

  • OS: iOS 17.1
  • IceCubesApp version: 1.9.6

Description

When attempting to log into a Sharkey instance (fork of Misskey), after pressing 'Accept' to authorize use, Ice Cubes kicks back to the 'Add Account' view and isn't signed in.

Testing against a Firefish instance, another Misskey fork, I am able to login even though Ice Cubes is for Mastodon so I am hoping Sharkey support is viable.

Can confirm the same issue. After pressing 'Accept' to authorize, Ice Cubes goes back to the 'Add account'. Same if the authorize page is opened in separate Safari browser granting the authorization there. When asked to go back to the Ice Cubes app and pressing 'open', Ice Cubes app opens and displays the 'Add account' page with the same instance information shown.

Also seeing this when trying to use Ice Cubes v1.10.33 on Apple Vision Pro, signing onto ibe.social using Sharkey v2024.3.2

If this is a Sharkey issue, please feel free to update this issues accordingly.
