Feature request: allow disabling of autoplay for animations
Animation in the timeline can be very distracting for some people, myself included.
Please could you add an option to have GIFs and similar not autoplay, and display a Play button over a still frame instead? (It should also be possible to stop one once it has started playing…)
It might be a good idea to have separate controls for things like animated avatars and emoji; I'm going to turn them all to off, but I'm sure someone will want animated avatars off and GIFs on 😀
Could separate as well a control for videos. They auto play when scrolling the timeline and cause the pause of what you are listening.
Yes, please stop autoplaying animations of all kinds!
no, not stop all, but enable settings for such things. That is always the better solution.
