Rift won't load any mods on ubuntu even though mods worked earlier today.

Please explain further. It is unclear what the problem is and thus the developers can't help.

okay so earlier today all mods worked but then i tried to add more mods including optifine but after i did that no mods would actually work and what i mean by that is that rift can't detect that there are any mods installed and also i copy and pasted my mods into the mods folder. just wondering if the problem is that i copy and pasted the mods and that's why they won't work. p.s i'm using ubuntu 16.04
