Config option for turning off Rift growth/instability

Hello all,

I left this in discord, but didn't get an answer, my apologies.

I'm looking to turn off the spread of rifts, and came across the option "I:depthSpreadFactor". Can someone confirm if this turns the spread off, and what value (positive, negative, zero) should be placed in there?

If this isn't the option, then any help would be appreciated.
