[Bug]: [1.19.2] Detached Rift is shown as block and can be replaced by other blocks

What happened?

When breaking a Quartz or Iron Dimensional Door, a detached rift spawns with a block outline and you can replace it by any other block (like dirt), effectively destroying it. In 1.12.2 the rift spawns, but it doesn't have a block outline, and you can't put any ordinary blocks. Below are screenshots of how it looks like in-game.
