The ui is (subjectively) better and the search is (objectively) better. They have a monetization model where you get paid 100% of the ad revenue from your project pages and you can withdraw your funds at any time. It's open source and made by modders for modders. I'm not affiliated with them in any way, I just like the site more and wish more mods were published there because it's easier to use from a mod pack dev perspective.

To add to the list of benefits on the Modrith side, their API in terms of launchers is a lot more straightforward. For example, you are able to "fetch" data for one mod among the many when doing a mass update. Whereas in CurseForge, you are forced to do an update check one-by-one. The latter can significantly slow things down when a player has 100+ mods installed.
