[Infrastructure] Exploring Amper.
Try to migrate to Amper. Documentation: https://blog.jetbrains.com/blog/2023/11/09/amper-improving-the-build-tooling-user-experience/ https://github.com/JetBrains/amper/blob/main/docs/Documentation.md And also, with this, we can expect that fleet will be the better choose for KMP development.
After a bit of research, there are still a few things that prevent Flare from being fully migrated to Amper:
- [ ] Integration with Gradle version catalogs.
- [ ] Native dependencies support, such as CocoaPods, Swift Package Manager.
- [ ] Packaging and publication.
- [ ] Extensibility.
- [ ] A way to edit the plist file used by Flare for deep linking.
I thought the future of KMP development would be Fleet and Amper, but with Jetbrains announcing that Fleet will stop supporting KMP, Amper may be on its way out. Close this as this is not the future we will have. Personally I wish the future will be Fleet and Amper, both are great tools and have much more potential.
