Hi Stefan, Your help was useful. I now wanted to ask you can apply your pluggin the edges only just avoiding that then get up and lower the dish every time she goes to make the oblique lines of the first surface? Why so it takes a long time, but mostly it is useless, raise and lower the plate just to make the oblique lines of the surface.

Thanks

Actually it is planned to make the RetractWhileCombing plugin obsolete with the new Cura. Any feature requests therefore get reduced priority. However, if the RetractWhileCombing plugin would have to be ported to the new Cura, priority of feature request would rise significantly.

Hi Stefan. Any reason for making it obsolete? Is it just that the new cura doesn't need it?

Well, in a very early stage of the new Cura I had a discussion with Ultimaker R&D which of the plugins I maintain will be needed in the new Cura. TweakAtZ was clearly to be ported, SelectExtruder clearly not as it will be included when dual extrusion will be included in the new Cura. RetractWhileCombing was a 'maybe'...but the functionality could actually be included into the new Cura.
