Error 0x80030003 the path %1 could not be found

I don't know anything about coding, just putting that up front.

I get that error after trying to apply codes to PNGs. I chose the 'simple' profile and restarted explorer and got that error. After repeated attempts to restart explorer I did a reboot and I am still getting the same error.

Running windows 10 64 bit and I made sure to install 64 bit FileMeta. Any ideas?

I noticed the same issue when trying to tag a PDF file on my USB flash drive. Had no trouble tagging a PDF file on my PC (C:), however, where I have the file meta manager installed.

EDIT 1: I figured the issue is my USB drive's file format, FAT. Changing it to NTFS solved the issue.
