adding handler to .chm (and few others) crashes with no message. in registry, nothing is added yet to .chm: [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT.chm] @="chm.file"

The currently available patch release, "Feature preview patch to v1.5 for issue #70", improves the situation insofar as it tells you what the error is (a registry permissions problem) rather than crashing.

The 1.6 release, currently in preparation, will go one better and allow the File Meta handler to be added for the .chm extension (and some other similar cases).
