dice Re-evaluate SwissMap in multi-threading setup

@bbenzo to ensure (and be sure) that there are no regressions after multi-threaded setup. we saw significant improvement when we adopted SwissTable, and just wanted to re-check post a major refactor.

There has been no activity on this issue for the past 5 days. It would be awesome if you keep posting updates to this issue so that we know you are actively working on it.
