Does not work with dev containers (and likely other projects using Remote Extension Host)

Thank you for providing this extension. Your work is highly appreciated.

What happens now:

When enabling the extension on a project that uses a Dev Container, the extension is installed in the remote host, the extension pages shows the message: "(i) This extension is enabled in the Remote Extension Host because it prefers to run there. Learn More"

The context menu appears as it should when right clicking the explorer, but no actions are taken when "Hide" is clicked.

The "HIDDEN ITEMS" pane shows the message: "There is no data provider registered that can provide view data."

What I expect to happen: The exension is installed wherever it prefers to be. Clicking an item, such as "Hide" in the context menu will perform the associated action. The HIDDEN ITEMS pane will show hidden items.

My VSCODE specs are:

I have this same issue working with SSH Remote Host. Was quite excited to try this extension out, but alas, no go for now...

Will monitor this thread in case any progress is made...
