Getting banned depends on what settings you have enabled (no I cannot tell you which). Some may be detected more easily by WhatsApp. I have been using waenhancer for about a year with most settings enabled and have not been banned.

Being hacked would mean either malicious code in waenhancer or downloading random magisk/ksu modules from the internet. If you're not stupid you won't get hacked.
