does installing the [basedpyright npm package](https://www.npmjs.com/package/basedpyright) instead of the pypi one work for you?
i guess we could add an option to specify the node version in the pypi package. (related issue for the bundled version in the vscode extenssion: #1008)
specifically it outputs the path to the executable it was looking for, not the path to the bundled version. it should probably print both paths actually
