snippet support?

Considering that pyright has shot down snippet support, would you be open to maintaining some level of support for snippets?

I'm assuming a rough implementation would be simple, but that a good one would probably require a lot of refactoring work

sure. though i don't really use snippets so perhaps someone more familiar with them could work on this
