Preload models with a set zoom/position

I find myself wanting to allow users to switch my model but there is downtime visually that could be avoided. If this gets implemented I could create a webplugin that would allow viewers to use points to preload and swap models. This could then appear like an instantaneous swap from the viewers pov

Even adding a api option for swapping models with preload. ie, lazySwap(position, zoom). It could then load in the background and not unload the current model until it’s ready for render
