Error message when loading

I know it's been awhile since this was updated, so there may have been changes to Logseq in the meantime that make it not work.

If I try to load the src directory as the unpacked plugin, nothing happens, so I have to use the cloned directory itself. When I do that, Logseq tells me:

This plugin #Highlighters takes too long to load, affecting the application startup time and potentially causing other plugins to fail to load.

Even if I ignore the warning and leave it enabled, though, the slash commands don't work, even after relaunch.

I was hoping to adapt this to make it easier to type in different colored text, rather than highlighted, but if it can't do highlighting, I don't think I'm going to be able to tweak it.
