Hair changes cannot save

Description

Changes to hair color or type on seemingly any species cannot be saved. An option to save is not given, and no other workarounds seem to work

Reproduction

  1. Attempt to change hair color or style (facial hair seems unaffected)
  2. Lament at the lack of a save button

Additional context I've heard that this is known to be an upstream issue, but I couldn't find any PRs here about fixing it. If there's a PR upstream for this, I can close this issue.
