Heya, thanks for the issue, should be easy to add as there is already an icon for this in android, though it seems to be released only under an appimage, which can't inherently have a custom icon assigned to them, though there is a workaround, otherwise if you are building from source, it should make a .desktop file, either in ~/.local/share/applications, or /usr/share/applications/, that file should contain an "Icon" variable, if you could tell me that string, I could add that to the repo so it would work for everyone compiling from source.

I have added the icons for LibreLinkUp, LinPhone (it was there, just added support for the appimages), I will add one for Outline whenever the android branch's icon gets clarified.

For Enpass, it seems the icon is already there? So it should work?

for ZoiPer, seems there are several ways to install it, I have added the icon, I assume you installed from the .tar.gz, which seems to have hardcoded the icon, if you want to keep your current install, edit the .desktop file and change icon= to icon=zoiper (whenever the changes get merged to the main branch)

Are Snaps problematic in general? I suppose most of the installations where I did not find a .desktop icon are Snaps.

That's good to know,

for the ones you have requested:

• Toolbox: there isn't currently an icon for that.
• Android Studio: there is an icon, but same as ZoiPer, it is hardcoded, so you will have to change the .desktop file for that.
• Synology Drive, Chat, and Note Station: there are icons in the android repo, I will add them in.
• Firefox: already exists, should be themed already.
• WhatSie: Icon already exists, but I have to add a symbolic link.
• Remmina: no icon for that.
• Cryptomator: Icon exists for android, need to add that to linux branch.
• Skype: should already be themed.
• Tabby: Seems to be a terminal app (side rant, why the hell are terminal applications being written in Javascript, what), I will add a symbolic link.
• Termius: should be themed already.
• Taskage: Android Icon exists, will add that.

The issue with snaps are is that I have no experience with them and I have no plans on using them personally, I believe they are stored in a separate folder, for their desktop files you might have to go to /snap/ and then search for the .desktop files and report back, but I am not fully sure if they have their icons hardcoded or not.

Notes for myself in the future: Bring over: Synology Drive, Chat, Note, Cryptomator, Taskage. Symbolic Links: WhatSie, Tabby.

Added in all the icons I mentioned I would, update on the snap situation, it seems the icons are hardcoded and cannot be modified, I will look into if there are any workarounds, but I don't think at least the snap situation can be fixed, hopefully the rest of them work though! (update your icons by running the script again!)

I switched some programs from snap to .deb (e.g. Telegram) and then the icon got applied.

What needs to be clarified regarding Outline?

May you please check why a wrong icon for Synology Drive is applied? May you please check why the icon for Synology Chat is not applied?

Do you have an idea why AnyDesk is themed in the launcher but not in the taskbar?

Do you think adding an icon for BitBoxApp is possible although it is not on Android (yet)? Icon=bitbox

Greetings, wasn't able to work on this over the weekend, going through this now,

• [x] Arduino
• [x] Notion: Notion works, but don't have an icon for Notion Enhancer
• [x] Take Control
• [x] Mkchromecast: I'll just use the default chromecast logo
• Slack: Already has an icon, it is just hard coded for you
• [x] Evil Insult Generator

Good to know debs work, they should, i'll try looking into snaps soon hopefully

For outline, the Android png and svg were differently coloured, I'll fix that and hopefully push that to the android repo too

For Synology I got confused, and used the wrong icon and misnamed the chat icon, you seem to have fixed that in #34, I'll merge it now, and I believe that the kstatusicons need to be applied differently? I could give it a try to fix that.

for bitbox, since there is no icon in android, I can't add something, though if you would like to make one, I would merge the pull request for it, but I have no artistic skills myself to make that.
