Make Father Valerian use audio greeting and farewell to the player

Hi. Father Valerian does not use audio greeting and farewell to the player, although they are in the game files: Gamedata\sounds\characters_voice\scenario\escape
esc_stalker_leader_meet_1 esc_stalker_leader_meet_2 esc_stalker_leader_meet_bye_1 esc_stalker_leader_meet_bye_2 esc_stalker_leader_meet_bye_3

As far as I know, there is lots of unused content in game files, but Decane only restores things that were left out of the game due to bugs and/or negligence (see changelog for details).

SurDno, Yes, I know, thank you! :) I just think it would be quite possible to use by analogy with other characters who have similar voice acting is used. For example Decane regained the use of a pair of voiceovers from the Forester and Sydorovych, so I think that might be a good (or not) idea to restore it

After some research I can say that both are intentional (even though the intent might appear subjective).

Valerian had his greeting and farewell phrases working in Build 3436. There was another phrase that is missing in release files:

You were sent to me by none other than the hand of god, only I don't really know why or what for.

Then the lines have been disabled and this particular file has been deleted. Why? Perhaps the answer lies in Russian localization in which his wording is a bit rougher:

You were sent to me by a truly higher power. Just that I don't know what the heck for.

One can still argue that there are phrases that are far more offensive in both localizations, but there is no way this was left out by an accident.

As for Sidorovich, he actually uses esc_trader_bye_1 where he wishes Scar some luck but it's used only once, right after he sends you to Garbage. This means that GSC likely decided to replace a set of regular farewell with a unique scenario-related one. Again, clearly intentional.

@Decane close?
