SRP 1.1.5 - After returning to Swamps guides dont offer a ride back to Cordon

Playing GOG vanilla with SRP 1.1.5 only. After leaving Swamps for the first time I did som tasks in Cordon and then decided to go back to Swamps using a guide. In Swamps I did the upgrade fetch quest for the technician and wanted to go back to Cordon. Problem is the guides offer rides around the Swamps only, but not to Cordon. I tried killing renegades in the whole area but they just keep respawning and guides still dont offer a way out of Swamps no matter how many renegades I kill.
