@KungFuJesus True, but CachyOs had their first release with zlib-ng-compat at 2.2.1, so they were a bit unlucky about the timing I guess since the fix to that bug was...

As this is not a bug on our end, I am closing this. I did post a better explanation of the situation related to this anti-pattern on the MinecraftForge issue.

We currently do not support such builds removing optimized functions for older instruction-set extensions. The reason is that it is not that simple, in many cases we don't have implementations...

Don't know why RISC-V CI fails, I don't see anything that would affect cmake differently from configure.
