Save album art to folder

Hi, sorry - if this is already possible I just can't seem to find it. If the album art plugin connects to the web and finds album art for an album, it doesn't seem to be automatically saved to the album folder. Can this be enabled somehow?
Thank you!

As the paragraph says, it would be a very nice feature as i've came across other players that will download it but to it's own covers folder. Something that has resulted in mid usability if you're not using such player any longer. It would be nice to have them stored in albums folder and even more if it is in the cover.format way.
By the way, congrats for the good wirk done this far ;-)

Issue 603 has been merged into this issue.
There's some progress with this on medialib branch, but there's some mixed results.
One problem is that when the same folder contains tracks from multiple albums / artists -- this results in saving a downloaded cover.jpg for one of the tracks, and then it would be used for all tracks in that folder, which is wrong.
Another problem is deciding whether a newly downloaded cover should ever overwrite a pre-existing cover. Although it's easy to just say "no" to this.
