No embedded album art being displayed when .opus files are played

Open samuelawachie opened this issue 1 year ago • 2 comments

Steps to reproduce the problem

  1. Embed front cover album art in .opus file (using VorbisComments tag format)
  2. Play .opus file in DeadBeef
  3. You'd see that it doesn't show the album art but only displays the default round disc placeholder as the album art as though there were no album art embedded in the file

What's going on? Describe the problem in as much detail as possible.

This does not seem to happen with my other file formats (mp3, m4a, flac, etc.).

Information about the software:

Deadbeef version: 1.9.6 OS: Linux Zorin 17.1

Another thing to try is to use the native ogg tag format (VorbisComments) instead of ID3

Sorry, my bad. It's using VorbisComments not ID3. I thought VorbisComments was under the ID3 umbrella. The files I am referring to are VorbisComments tagged.
