[BUG] Pro Controller acting weird randomly

Describe the bug Probably a not so common use case, but I like to leave BetterJoy running at all times in the background so I can just pick up the controller and start to play. After a few (random) times of reconnecting the Switch Pro Controller the drivers start acting up and the left analogue stick is supposedly stuck in the down-most position (as in: walking down/backwards) until I restart the driver using the Task Manager since trying to force close it through the taskbar icon doesn't work at all when this happens. Is happening both in Bluetooth and USB mode.

Expected behavior The Pro Controller should definitely not do that.

May 2023 and I have this exact same problem. Really frustrating as I use a tool called Controller Companion to remove the need for mouse/keyboard when playing on TV. But with Betterjoy not working correctly, I still need a mouse/keyboard to reset it.

Is there really no fix for this?
