Erase GPT entries for plausible deniability (TrueCrypt/VeraCrypt style)

Open sutanisurabu opened this issue 1 month ago • 0 comments

DiskCryptor offers a significant degree of plausible deniability:

  • Its volume headers are indistinguishable of random data and can't be definitely identified as encrypted volumes.
  • It allows choosing between many encrypted OSes based on the input password.

However, DiskCryptor does not erase partition entries off the table, so the start and the end of each partition can be still identified. For stronger plausible deniability, GPT entries should be erased to make the "idk it just initialized with random data lmao" story sound more convincing.
